M3 Toronto to Wasaga Beach cruise?
Is anyone interested in getting together for a Toronto to Wasaga Beach drive on either the August 9th/10th or 16th/17th? I figured we would make a day trip out of it and cruise some of the roads in the Beaver Valley area on the way up and back while spending the afternoon on beach.
Post a reply or send me a private message if you are interested. I will take suggestions of routes and good driving roads but I have my own favourites up there which I will send out by private message once we have the date firmed up.

Wasaga cruise Absolutely
Great idea. I would love to meet some other M3 enthusiasts and enjoy a drive. Please count me in and at this point I am likely OK for either weekend.
Received MR w Bamboo M3 on July 8 pm. 2000K check up tomorrow! |

Great colour combo - looking forward to seeing it. Hopefully we can get a range of colours, JB, AW, etc for some good pics. With any luck we can get 5+ M3's for the drive. Anyone else interested?

Let's go with Saturday August the 16th. That way your car will be off the train, and it will give you a chance to put some kms on it for the 2K service. I suggest we meet around 400 and 7 area at 10 am and head north from there.

Yes - the break-in service - including changing out some of the fluids - very important. There are a number of factory recommended restrictions including rpms and throttle before 2,000kms - all should be explained to you on delivery. Search forum for more detail. Enjoy the car!

Also, would love to join the drive to Wasaga on the 16th.... but can't...I'll actually be driving up the 400 later that day to Gravenurst with my wife & kids....probably not the same kind of drive you guys are thinking of :-)

Too bad you can't make it. We will see what the turnout is for Wasaga but I have also been thinking of planning a meet and drive in Toronto for September.

August 16th, 10 am - Colossus Theatre
Let's meet in the parking lot of the Colossus Theatre in Vaughn (Hwy 7 and 400) at 10 am on Saturday the 16th. At that hour of the morning the lot should be empty so we can get some pics before we head out for the drive.
Send me a private message if you are coming and want my cell number in case you are running late or lost.

Just a quick update. It sounds like a number of people are able to come for the meet in the morning but are not able to make the drive due to prior committments -- no problem, hopefully we can check out each other's cars and take a few pics and for those that can't join the drive then there is always next time.
Also, some enquires about whether E46's and 335's etc are welcome, and my response is the more the better. Anyone interested in checking out the cars (especially those waiting for delivery or debating on making the purchase/upgrade) are more than welcome. See you Saturday.

Some pictures from the drive
Below our some pics from Saturday's drive. We had a perfect sunny day and hope that on our next drive we will have some more Toronto owners join us.
I set up an album with all the pics for those who are interested. http://www.m3post.com/forums/album.php?albumid=367

Will do and welcome. I noticed you joined recently - did you just pick yours up? I like the AW with FR combo, have not seen it on the E90 yet so looking forward to it.
