Arrow Specific PCD Questions

Once my car is built, I plan on taking delivery via the performance center in SC. I have a few specific questions:

-My dealer always tints cars, installs OEM alarms, etc on all cars sold. Will the same treatment be given to mine at the PC?

-What are the options for gettin a "clear bra" installed at the PC? I would like one installed with full coverage of hood, fenders, bumper, etc before I make my journey back to Denver.

-I am assuming I can send minor requests such as no license plate holes, keep window sticker, etc to my CA and he will forward them accordingly?

Thanks for the help!

-Niels

You'll get pissed when you get to NC and your car isn't there, so make sure you go to SC.

No. I'm sure your dealer would be happy to do it for you when you get home, but you'll already have the car by then and might as well go to a tint shop directly. It will be much cheaper.

No, this is another aftermarket option that PCD won't waste their time with. I suppose you can call them and ask for a good local shop, as maybe they can recommend one that you can hit up before the long drive.

I'm sure they'll keep your window sticker, and the CA can pass on a request, but I'm not sure about the holes in the bumper thing. I'm not sure if they provide out-of-state plates there, or just a temporary transfer registration. If they do put plates on the car, and you're from a 2-plate state, I'd think that they will probably mount both plates. A request can't hurt, but is probably less likely to be filled than at your local dealer.

PC is in SC, not NC (just FYI).
Granted I've never done PCD, but I'm pretty sure that tint, clear bra, alarm, etc will not be installed at the PC. At least that's what my sales guy told me. I would have to drop the car off at the dealer to have all the dealer installed accessories installed after taking delivery.
I doubt they'll add dealer specific decals there, either but it never hurts to be clear about your expectations. Have fun with the PCD! I hear it's a blast.

edit: Damn, Seth_Horwitz beat me to it.

Yeah, but you're getting your car before me. (My build date isn't even until next month.) Who feels slow now?

With any luck, you'll get an earlier build allocation. I was initially quoted a week 28 build with delivery sometime late Aug or early Sept, but things got moved up. Unfortunately, every small delay now makes the wait that much more intolerable.

Also, in regard to delivery prep (wash, wax, etc) that the PC does, how is it?

Any owners who went through this process receive their cars with swirls, etc?

Actually my ED car that I picked up there was spotless and beautifully prepped. You will not be disappointed with the experience!

Back in 2004, I asked to have it hand washed... not sure if that's what they still do, but it was perfect surface finish when I picked it up. I saw "hand wash" next to my name on the printed schedule with the 4 other deliveries for the day.
