Federalized M3 CRT

It seems that someone had done it and is for sale!

Would have been so expensive! In period the amount of carbon fiber this car had was insane. I do agree though that the smaller bits like the Alcantara steering wheel, exhaust, seats, etc should have carried over.

Such an amazing car. The R&T article mentions the CRT has special lightweight wheels. Those sure look like the beautiful, but very heavy 359s, no?

Did BMW make forged 359s for this car? I wouldn't think so since I think the GTS runs on the standard 359s.

Nice catch I missed that, I want to see the "titanium exhaust" too. Was it a special header back system? I wonder who made it for bmw.

The frost silver with the sakhir accents is perfection. Interesting BMW built it with NAV since it supposed to be a weight conscious car..

Garage List
2017 BMW M3  [8.50]
2013 BMW M3  [10.00]
Is this the same car that has been on YouTube multiple times, and for sale ever since it arrived in US 4 years ago. Started at $300k and last I saw $187k. Seems to bounce around dealer to dealer. Letting YouTubers joy ride around with all their bros can't help it's value. Maybe get a race car driver to flog it around a track.

While I do wish a version of the CRT was more mainstream and sold in the US (alongside the E92 GTS and an E9X CS), I don't think this is what the ZCP should have been. I think the CRT is more akin to an E90 GTS.
M3 -> ZCP -> CS -> CRT / GTS.

i guess i wish it was more significant. sure it would cost more, but more legitimate power, better seats, legitimate less weight.

Front plate is drilled, pass.

Guess you can't get fold seats with this.

Looks like even the black window frames are frozen matte.

Current dealer is literally a mile down the road from me. I should show up and tell them I'm an important Instagram influencer and need a test drive, my E90 should qualify me right? Also showing it was beat on prior to even being broken in is a good start for haggling on the price.

Interesting that it doesnt have the GTS tire spec on it. Car is sitting on 245s front and 265s rear.
