Need help with a headlight issue: drl not working after bulb replacement

Just replaced two headlights a week ago with factory replacements from automotive lighting. Yesterday I got an idrive message saying my left drl broke. Replaced the bulb and still doesn't work. Are there any diy solutions or do you guys think this is going to have to be a dealer thing? 2010 e90 m3.

I had a similar issue with mine. sudden error message in idrive, swapped bulbs and still doesn't work. After doing some research it seems as though the frm... fmr... whatever it's called will stop sending power to a bulb if it registers any type of short. I couldn't find anyway to reset it other than the dealer unless you have coding software
