Wow, quite the journey. Keep an eye on that area and let us know if you find moisture again. I would be very interested to see where this is coming from since you have ruled out the normal issues.

Isn't the fuse box just in front of the heater coil. Our heater coils are known for leaking. Make sure that is not the issue. This again is leading back to the known early corrosion issues with the fuse box.

Any thoughts as to what went? Maybe the fuel pump relay (heard that it is a semi common problem with the m3), and or some other electrical problems causing the fuel pump not to work? Or maybe the fuel pump died? Or maybe as someone mentioned above, sludge in the oil?!?????? (seriously, dont think thats the issue, but not ruling anything out as of this moment ><!!) Thanks guys!
