Moment of truth ...

Will I love the color as much as I think? Will 295/30 work without rubbing? What will the "stance" look like with these offsets and tire sizes? Will they be mounted scratch-free?

Will try to take a few quick snaps after since it could be a few days before I can do a proper photo session.

I ran 295/30 on Yoko AD08 (more pronounced wall than yours) with RD Sport Springs and had NO rubbing.

Yes. Took a few snaps of the set up mounted and will post in a bit.

With my current setup, the rears will definitely make contact where the back bumper's edge (along the fender arch) meets the sheet metal (quarter panel fender lip). We had a couple guys at the tire installer sit in back, then compressed the suspension up and down. The inner plastic at the top of the rear bumper along the fender lip makes contact. I'll probably dial in the rear C/Os with a 1/2 to 2/3s of a turn (raising it).

Pretty sure you are still going to rub even after suspension adjustment.

Probably ... but it's just that little bit of inner plastic on the bumper, so I can easily trim it. In fact, it might make for a nice project since I dislike how thin the lip is on the metal portion of the quarter panel (wheel arch) and how fat the plastic lip is on the bumper. Or, more specifically, where those two meet ... which is exactly where the tire would potentially rub. I could trim that piece to make for a more progressive transition from the thin metal lip to the fatter lower plastic section.

I shaved that part to accommodate a 295 and it turned out that I still rubbed like crazy on the top fender liner.

What was your rim width and offset? The FF-01 are 10.5 on ET26, so should be suitable if the rear isn't too low. In researching 295s it sounded like anything less aggressive than ET25 would be safe(ish). We'll see.

Stock ZCP and I believe they are 19x10 ET25 so I'll be really surprised if you don't rub. The lower sidewall didn't help ride comfort either, so now I've got a pretty new set of PSS just sitting in the garage because it was just too annoying.

Depending on your camber setting this should work. I have had success with 10.5 et25 with 295/30/19 Yokohama AD08's. There was a whisker's worth of clearance but they fit. Michelins generally run a little narrower but there are some porsche N-Spec versions that run wide.

That's encouraging, as they are definitely rubbing that plastic bit now (both sides). Going to raise the ass up a bit, see how that goes, then maybe dial in some camber. If needed I'll trim the plastic, and if none of that works ... I'll move to 285s.

I'm running 295/30's without any rub at all (PSS tires + Eibach springs). I think tire brand and offsets are the key.
