So when do you actually bring the car in (re break in)...?
So I'm in the break in period and exactly at 690 mls now. The car is saying service due in 470 mls. Thing is that I'm going on a drive tomorrow which is 130 mls each way. I guess my question is, when do u bring the car in, exactly at 1200, less than 1200 or can I go a little above 1200 and bring her in. Please advise thanks guys.

You do it near or slightly after your expected 1200 mile mark. The exact milage on the odometer is not the deciding factor, your time and availability is ... as long as you near it say within 100 miles each way it's all good.
Take your 260 mile round trip and make your appointment at the dealer when you expect to be close to the recommended 1200 mile mark.

Just get as close as possible to the mark when the car says it will be due. Some dealerships tend to be a bit finicky about these things from what I've been told.

Mine was done at about 1000 miles (when it came back from Euro Delivery), so they will do it before the full 1,200 miles.

You'll be just fine. They just want it in around the 1200 mile mark. Just don't go more than a couple thousand beyond that though.

I just received a call from my SA regarding this. I have about 420 miles on my E93 M3 and she stated the car already called in for service.
She DID mention to bring it in with >= 1,200 miles, but not less than 1,200 as the system would not allow them to perform the break-in service prior to 1,200.
