Today was a ton of fun, but there were a couple of strange incidents.
A guy pretty much totaled a McLaren coming onto the straight that has the bridge over it. http://jalopnik.com/5949688/concrete...-club-speedway |

Thanks. Your car looks great even without the aero!
Yeah, this Stohr F1000 is very low. In a night event, I'm sure we'd see sparks fly.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I don't think that was the case when I came across him. I went 1.49.1 and I passed him fairly easily. Plus on the straights it was losing lots of ground to me. Maybe he ran that time some other day. I guess we will know once the results are posted.

The Stohr had vibrations problem with the front tires that day and couldn't go full out.

Pretty sure the owner said it has a top speed of only ~135 mph due to drag so I wouldn't be surprised if it was losing lots of ground to you in the straights

Yeah. I don't think it has much power for acceleration either. Like I mentioned I passed him in the infield on turn 5-6. He dropped back quite a bit on the straight after turn 6. My GTR is stock aside from mid pipe and wider tires.
