18x10's or coilover & camber?
so i've come to the end of my RE-11's on my stock 19's staggered for the season.
little dilemma, i've got an evo school and three more events left to the season. What do i spend the money on? 18x10's and what kind of tires would i throw on? coilover kit and camber? what would be the best(for the buck) suspension throw into an e92 m3 this is my first season of autocross and looking to go in STU for next season.

check out http://www.tcklineracing.com/ and http://www.ground-control-store.com/products/index.php for the coilovers and camber.
if you are autocrossing look into Hoosier A6's and apex wheels. http://www.apexraceparts.com/Wheels_c_11.html http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....r&tireModel=A6 you will eventually do both so either one is a good place to start I would go for the wheels and tires. or both |

Ideally, you'd want proper tires to be used with proper suspension so that the performance and life of the tires can be maximized.
But if you had to choose one... R comp tires will make the greatest difference by far. Try Continental scrubs from the Grand-Am GS class. http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-44...-27535-18.aspx They are the most cost-effective r comp tires money can buy. |

How about --> 18x10's & camber, and coilover later? Or, both nao.
As for tires, are you ready for R comps? How about AD08 or R-S3 before moving onto Conti scrubs...

1. Camber
2. Coilovers 3. Tires (but put tires to #1 if you aren't at least running good street tires, PSS, AD08 etc.) Good coilovers and extra camber both make the car easier to drive fast. Race rubber makes the car faster but harder to drive (at the limit). |

One thing I forgot to mention, did you already have your alignment pins pulled from your front upper mounts? If not, that can be done at a pretty low cost $100-150 including alignment as well. |

okay so reading over everyone's comments, i think my first necessary move is wheels and tires. the outer thread on my RE-11's are pretty much gone. I might want to put in the camber plates at the same time to extend the life of my new tires.
