Impatiently waiting! EAS

Got the call from Robert at EAS! I had the ESS VT2-600 on order and now I just have to wait for the challenge x-pipe to come in! Hopefully only a few sleepless nights are ahead of me! I can't wait!
On a side note, I have no idea about tires, spacers and rims. Can anyone lend me a hand on what'll give me the best results for traction?
Thanks,
Mike

Your VT2-600 system is waiting here, safe and sound.

Most choose 9.5" Fronts with 10.5" rears using a 295/265 combo for a sizeable footprint. Offsets on wheels will determine whether spacers are needed or not.

Which challenge X-pipe did you get?

For wheels, what size are you looking at?
Most want 9.5/10.5 with et+22 front and rear, like tom said.

Lol you're not helping Tom!
Would I have any rubbing issues with the 295/265 set up?

Not at all, I'm running the same configuration. Now it's simply a matter of what style/brand wheel you want.

Drop by at our dyno shootout tomorrow, there will be a number of modded M3s you can base your choice from.

You will rub with a 295 rear on 10.5 ET 22 unless perhaps you are running max camber. ET 28 or so should work but 295 is IMO too wide on a 10.5" rear wheel - doesnt look aesthetically pleasing and since the tire shoulder is so square you need to sacrifice a lot of offset to alleviate rubbing. Also, since the car understeers stock I would try not to increase the front/rear width stagger. I believe you should be able to run a 275/30/19 in front. I currently run 265/35/19 with no rubbing whatsoever.

Swapping mid pipes isn't difficult.

In Cali, you need to pass visual inspection, which means you need the stock intake.
