On a hunter rack we would do about .22 toe in each side on the rear and about .05 out in the front each side (sometimes more aggressive than that) Having the toe out in the front will help with turn in.

But I think you have the right idea with starting with taking tire temps and going from there first.

That's a cool diffuser despite the CF...but I'd be too afraid of ripping it off.

You have a lot of trust in Bimmerworld delivering on time or just don't plan on a track day soon. I hope they prove me wrong but typically delivery time is 4x what was quoted.
I am going through with the S62 engine swap so will have a few items: s54, euro header, Delage CF intake, pulleys which you have.......maybe 3.91 ring and pinion, APR gtc 300 wing, bimmerworld cf splitter if we go wide body, custom drive shaft for 5 speed swap.

yeah i realize that now. i called and they said closed for the holidays. i dont have anything planned for a bit but dont want to wait forever either.

thats pretty damn cool that your stepping up to the s62. most of that i wont need possibly the intake and gears is about it.

The weather looks good next weekend so wonder if a day will be scheduled at the Ridge.
Aero bits would also be something to consider....

could be but guess im out unless i want to put things back together for one day. ive tried to stay away from aero because i dont want the extra hastle of having to sort it out as well as i cant get in my garage with a lip, i suppose i could back in if it was that important to me.

There is not much to sort with the aero....pretty balanced no matter what wing is used. You just set the wing at 0.0 degrees of attack because the engine doesn't have enough power to push through.

Probably sell before I'm ready for it. Still want another season as is probably.

BW race and diffuser came today. Just unpacked and weighed the exhaust. will be 58 lb savings for me. finish on the cf isnt perfect but they said that is to be expected with race part.

Yep what he said, sounds like a fire breathing beast now. Hasn't left the garage yet and I'm already impressed.

id love to hear a s/c s54 with that exhaust pipe sizing....

so to match the flow of the stock twin 2.25" pipes in single pipe form id guess you'd need a single 3.25".... so your 3.5" will be very free fowing.... i bet it sounds beautiful as it looks like it has some decent silencing too so you should be getting "quality" to the sound....
