That stove is supposed to be anchored to the floor. That's a bigger fail.

Umm, stoves are not supposed to be anchored to the floor, the fail is your pretend building code knowledge.

It's a slide-in bracket on the back end of the stove. You place an anchor bolt on the floor, then slide the stove over it to prevent it from tipping.
