Did my dealership changed diff. fluid on my M3?
My SA told me that he has done changing diff. fluid but I do not see

i dont see the part number billed out for the differential fluid......you may want to check out one of the sticky threads in the maintenance section of this forum for the relevant part numbers and check with the dealership ...... i am currently going through the same process with mine, dropped the car off yesterday and the techs there did not appear to be on the ball with the specifics for the M3. atleast they were willing to listen, so I gave them the SIB (service information bulletin) number for the 1200 mile service and am gonna see what happens.....I do anticipate something to be amiss though.........
you should double check with the dealership and get it in writing that the differential oil was changed.......that way of anything happens, atleast you are covered. just "rear differential service - done" aint enough in my opinion without specifics...... |
