Local track with a pair of Camaros
**Disclaimer**
I know that our cars are not ment for the drag strip, and I do not plan on using it for that reason outside of this weekend. A local drag strip is opening soon, and for opening night they are opening it up for street cars. A couple of buddies of mine want to go and get in a few passes in since its all in good fun, regardless of how well we do. But it got me curious, how well do you guys think I will do against them? 08' M3 Coupe - Manual, MS Stage 2 Intake and Underdrive Pulleys, new Perelli PZeros vs 10' Camaro SS - Auto, Stock, unknown allseasons 16' Camaro SS - Auto, Stock, worn stock Goodyear Eagle F1 I have only made a few passes in the past but never in the M, while they have never been. |

If you launch as well as them and shift quickly, you should hang with them but ultimately get pulled on far end of the track.

The 2016 Camaro will beat you.
The 2010 Camaro will probably jump ahead at first since it has lots of torque, but you should be able to outrun it if you don't miss any shifts. Both cars being auto has the advantage of being extremely consistent and not having to worry about shifting issues.

If you are not supercharged, you have almost no chance to beat them.
