How to clean your wheels and tires - elapsed time video

How to clean your wheels and tires - elapsed time video

Figured this would be a good one to post up - just an elapsed time video of how we do wheels at the shop.

Hope you enjoy it.

This is what I cant figure out. All that work, and once you stop for the first time, all that rust will be all over the insider barrel of your wheel.

What can be done to prevent this!?

I not once had that issue with my M3. It is not the rust that messes up your wheels, it is the wet brakes.

All you have to do is blow dry your wheels and do a gentle roll while applying the brakes lightly..... Rotors will be all clean as well as your wheels.

Where does the rust go when you do that gentle roll?

Pads pretty much absorb it....

Try it and report back.

In the picture posted above, you can see that brakes have been applied...... the car needed to roll a bit more.
