I work at a body shop. If you clean the surface really good then use these wipes with the 3M double sided tape, that thing will not come off. So make sure when you go to stick it down it's in the correct spot. Otherwise good luck not having to repaint your decklid if you try to take it off and redo it.

Thanks a lot guys!

I installed it and it seems to be really staable, can't even move it a little bit. I will heat it up too just to be sure. Will post the pictures later.

Thanks again

True. Take it from the guy who had to repaint his trunk after removing a glued on spoiler.

Make sure you heat it soon before any gunk has a chance to get in there and ruin the tape's adhesion.

Is this the correct product # since I know there are many types of adhesion promoter? Thanks for the info.

Yes that's the product number 6396. We use them all the time to put body side molding and window vents back on.

It's not coming off with tape if you do it right. Betalink is a mess and it's 100% permanent. Good luck getting it off easily if you change your mind down the road.
