Adding iPod controls to my E92?

My M3 didn't come with the iPod adapter for some reason.

I uploaded a bunch of music from my iPod via the USB port in the glove box. But it's impossible to navigate the songs and artists that way.

So what part(s) do I need to get the iPod controls?

I've gon an '09 with the nav btw.
