Your garage is looking good! Love the 2 tone paint and wheel rack. Those are in my future as well. I have held off on all the detail work like paint and floors until this beast was in. Now that she's up, I can run the compressor hard lines, order up my moduline cabinets, and get this piece lookin like it oughta.

I have the real rear diffuser on my car, it's gonna start sucking when people ask me if it's a replica or not lol.

Plus on the ad the vendor was using real Varis diffusers as their product pictures hmm

My Varis lasted maybe 4 months before freeway troubles caused it to come off. So hesitant on pulling the trigger again with these freeways

WOW just wow! looks phenomenal. Did you build this house/garage from scratch? I cant imagine you had that space and ceiling height before. Its sooo clean... that was also the look im going for.

I dont know if you looked at air lines yet but I used maxline products from rapid air and they worked perfectly and were super easy to install. And super reasonably priced. I think the whole kit was a couple hundred bucks.

Yea I did hit something on the freeway which knocked it off. My insurance covered it. It was already working on coming off as I rubbed sometimes on dips on freeways and streets. Also it didnt help once it was rubbing, it rubbed when I started driving into my garage.

Btw, is that the XPR10A? What are your impressions? I was going with the XPR10A... but then got a sweet deal on a Rotary Lift. Im going to be really jealous until I get mine in

Thanks, I appreciate that. Not a new build home, just the endless search for a home w/ a huge garage... 1300 sq ft. Its actually built to be an rv garage for one of those gigantic monster coaches. I obviously have better plans muah ha ha.. As you called out, definitely going for the clean look. Still so much to do though. Almost embarrassed to post pictures now based on what I envision the final product but oh well, all things take time.

Funny you mention about rapid air... I was looking at them pretty seriously and may go that route if I don't go full custom and realistically, cheaper.

You have certainly done your research. XPR10A it is. I am really impressed with it. To see it in person, this thing is legit. What really sold me on the BendPak was the width. Far wider than anything else I could find. I have so much room between the posts its ridiculous. That was the only con I had with the rotary "revolution". Good price, but unfortunately, standard width only... Depends on how much room you have though. If you can squeeze in an extra wide. DEFINITELY do it. SO WORTH IT.

Curious if it's as strong as the Varis diffuser. I've learned that there's a huge difference in carbon strength out there. Most of the vendors sell very cheaply made carbon fiber that should not be used for splitters and diffusers. They are great for stuff like trunks or spoilers, but splitters and diffusers should be able to take quite a beating. For example the carbon fiber under tray pieces on the GTR feel like they are made out of steel. Same goes for BMW Motorsport division's M3 GT4 splitter. The Varis diffuser strength feels somewhere between the cheap stuff designed for upper body components and CF parts that should be strengthened for the underbody.

I agree. The under tray does feel a bit flimsy. But then again it's not really designed to be a structural piece. Imho I actually think it's designed to be more of a cosmetic piece (that might add a little bit of aerodynamics to the underbody). It'd be interesting to see some wind tunnel type tests on the piece to see if it's at all effective. I could never really see you putting this piece on your car as it's truly a functional track car with functional components.

But that being said it's still a nice quality piece that should stand up against most normal conditions.

What an awesome setup. Any pics from the outside? I'll be looking into a house with enough room to build one of these.

Ever since Tbone said the Arkym fits under the Varis, I'm considering these as well. Looking forward to guys trying this out.

You'll have to shave down your middle fin for nice fitment, but you're going to paint it black anyway

i will most likely pick up the FRP...i think that would be more durable then the CF... what do you think?
