E60 M5 Brembos on my E92 M3?
Someone is selling M5 E60 brembos. I was wondering if it would fit on my car. 6 piston brembos have a 380x32 size rotor same for the M3 and M5 is the caliper the same for both cars. All im asking would i have any chance of fitting it?

I doubt it will be a direct bolt on for several reasons. The caliper mounting brackets are probably different. I doubt the rotor offset from the hub (i.e., design of mounting hat) and the location of the rotor pins/retaining screw are the same between the e9x M3 and e60 M5 BBKs. Also, if this BBK includes a rear caliper and rotor I doubt the design of the parking brake drum/shoe is identical to the e9x M3 parking brake design. Basically, be prepared to spend a lot of money and time fabricating custom parts to make an e60 M5 BBK fit on an e9x M3...

If it did fit, I would have guessed someone would have figured that out by now.

hmm... if youre interested, i have a HUGE set of brembos from a 09 nissan GTR, with only 1000 miles cuz right after he bought the car, he changed out the brake kit so i decided to buy the kit from him to make it fit it on my car... but i just decided ill sell it to get me some coilovers... if youre interested let me know, im down to let it go at a really really goodprice for thiskit! this OEM kit from the dealer is 13.5K, but ill let it go for not even half the price! everything is there, all you need is a custom made braket to fit your car! ill also post up some pics later!

Update:
Front kit: very different (calipers, hats, lines, and brackets). Rear kit: only need lines and brackets.

It's not cost effective to try to modify the front because the caliper is different.
But the rear is quite straightforward.
