I bet these things will be going for 80K MSRP + invoice for a bit until the price level comes down.
55k for a basic one is an incredible deal, considering what you get but you'll have to wait to pay that unless you are lucky

Now I'm curious if the Mustang is only a straight line car or will it be a capable track car as well. I think they deserve a little respect at this point. I admit they have extremely ugly interiors but hey they cost so little anyways.

It's pathetic to put that much HP in a car that is that much ugly !
Seriously , I just ment that it's pathetic the way the American companys put more and more hp in their cars to outsell each others , at that paste , in 10 years , the Mustang will probably have as much HP as the Veyron ! There's a reason why the M3 is still the benchmark in its class even if it's slower then a C63 in a straight line and slower then the RS5 on some race tracks , it's because the M3 has soul , not like those big chunky ugly american cars that are back with their 60-70s styling ! It pisses me off to see people thinking that the 2013 Mustang GT is a better car then the M3 because it's as fast and it is cheaper ! Makes me think of that guy on this forum who was proud to beat 458s with his brand new GT-R , and now he's selling it after only 600miles , it would've probably not happen with a 911TT ! as most mustangs with bazzilion horsepower it will run low 12s as they all suffer from traction issues. steering feel is still numb and gaps between panels are still more than half an inch.
brembo brakes mean nothing. BMWs have used single piston calipers forever on M3s and they always outbraked competition with superior multi piston brakes. at worst they were equal. lots of car for money, but for that money ill buy new M3. |

And fyi, most people aren't daily driving their Z06's or Vipers. They own them because they are a fawk load of fun to drive and can wipe the table with most everything out there. I'm less concerned with your limited English vocabulary and more concerned with your limited car knowledge and lack of perspective. |

$6/gal gas FTW. Many will overextend to buy it and only be able to sit in it while in the garage and making engine sounds with their mouths.
