Passenger Side Fender Vent Water?

I've noticed the last few times I've washed my car that there are streaks running down the passenger side from the fender vent on the passenger side. This morning after my drive to work I looked and sure enough there was water that was coming out of the vent running along the side of the fender.

Anyone here notice the same thing? What is causing it?

After I wash and do the sheeting method, but before I dry, I use a leaf blower to blow water out of trouble spots. The fender gills are one of the areas that I hit with the blower. I have an E90 so the gills are a little different than yours, but I think we're talking about the same issue. I think you're either going to have to live with it or get a blower.

FYI, the other areas that I hit with the leaf blower are:

wheels/tires/lugs, hood vents, side mirrors (from front and back), along the bottom of the outside section of the tail lights, rear bumper honeycomb, hood roundel, kidney grilles, and front bumper honeycomb

Well it's been several days since I washed it, so I don't see how the water from a car wash is still in the vents. I don't see that as possible.

I wonder if it has something to do with aircon? I think it was off this AM since the temps were in the mid 40s, but if it was on is that a place where the condenser coils drain water?

If you look beneath the hood - there's a little rubber reservoir where a good amount of water can collect.
