I don't now the C63 looks amazing and aggressive from the front and from the front than from the back it looks kinda smashed in or something like that lol for street racing (even though you shouldn't) =) I'd roll with the C If the wheels didn't wear down so quickly lol but for every day use and for those special moments on the track straight up BMW.

Have you tracked a C63? I have tracked it and its one awesome track car. Handling is very predictable and a lot of fun when you are in the mood for some old fashion drift. If owner is serious about tracking PP package equiped C63 will handle very close to a m3. In fact both car handles great, M3 being better since it comes with a very intelligient M diff. However it comes down to a good driver to bring either of these to their true level of performance. |

C63 handles very well considering it's weight and all. Sure the turn-in and overall grip is less than the M3 but looking at the big picture it still handles pretty well --- especially if it's modded and has fatter tires like 255 front/ 285 rear.

Gents I recently test drove the C63 and I have to say I wasn't that impressed by it... Yes it handled quite well... but the drive wasn't as exciting as the M3... that is from an amateur driver...
I do believe that the M3 is more forgiving... I like the design of the M3 interior... some may disagree... but I actually believe it is simpler and better (idrive is better than Merc's nav system)

C63 stock compared to stock M3 on the track. M3 hands down the Merc is to heavy and doesn't have enough grip. plus I personally think it's an ugly/unatractive car mean and menacing yes but definately not my cup of tea

I've had 2 C63's, and now on my 3rd E92 M3.
Really won't go into the history, but both cars are great. I will NOT be getting a 3rd C63 because it simply is not as good of a drivers car as The M3 is. Not even close. Its like comparing an off the rack suit to a tailor made suit. In the M3 there is a true connection between car & driver, and its truly confidence inspiring. With the C63 I had over 500hp at my disposal but I never felt comfortable pushing the car like I do with my M3 |

I gotta admit the c63amg is the only down to earth AMG car (excluding black series cars) that have grabbed my attention in any meaningful way.
I was driving next to a black c63 a few months ago and the dude railed on it... well I im pretty sure there is a 500 mile safety radius between a c63 at full song and any of the world's active volcanos... because they will be set off. The car has this absolutely berzerk sense of raucous unadulterated naughtiness with it. Its absolutely wonderful. The m3 is hands down the better car; and being a BMW guys its the one I would have but the sense of theater the c63 amg has is completely and utterly fantastic. I think the c63 would put a smile on your face more often then with the m3... obviously you will be deaf and won't have a license after 3 months, that's for sure... but you'll be grinning like an 7 year old at christmas.

Personally, I thought stock for stock the C was a much more exciting car to drive....
The M3 really has nothing to offer down low (under 3.5k..the actual bandwidth you drive around in town). The M3-hands down has better overall interior but the C has way better seats and steering wheel. However, when the M3 is modded (AT LEAST SSK, Full exhaust, ECU Tune) then the engine really comes to life in the lower bandwidth. However, not many people on this site can even take a M3 to its limits. Neither can I take my 911 to the limits so it is really what you like in terms of feel. Disregard the "track" comments and just drive both. They are so damn different it will be a pretty clear cut choice.

me too sir.....me too.
OP: Both are phenomenal cars....both have a menacing presence on the road that exude both class and awesome power. The C63 is a brute, and the M a sleek missile. The C63's exhaust note and straightline power is intoxicating; the M's hi-revs and ability to cut corners at mind blowing speeds is one of the mosty satisfying feelings on earth. I wish I had the money b/c they would both be in my garage. I always turn my head when I see a 63 and needless to say they always turn heads when they see my M. In the end it is up to you. Either way I dont really think you can go wrong. AMG and M...can't we all just get along!!

I'll agree with you on the seats, which are absolutely wonderful, but save for the coot DTM style steering wheel with its flat bottom, there is nothing better about the steering wheel than a regualar C. The material is that same hard plastic that comes on all the other C's and the girth is not different either. I personally love the Novillo on the M's steering wheel and the girth of it makes me feel like I have something solid in my hands.
