New Troubles: C63 amg vs. M3
Guys,
I still cannot justify $10k more for an M3 versus a Benz. I havent driven the benz but I love the M3. However, for 10k, i can use that money for like a new projector for the house or something. The only reason why i'm interested in getting your opionions because I want to get a V8. I believe that going forward, a V8 would be a gem since most cars will be a pos with smaller engines..thanks to the gov. thanks for helping me. |

My view on it, is that since it has a bigger displacement, it will have a lot more torques down low, making it the better everyday car. the only complaint I have heard about the car is that the steering feels vague at high speeds...this is at about 190km/h plus, something I have never felt in my E46 M3. All in all, I would totally get one as a cool daily driver/weekend fun car, it is really a perfect package for that. Go for it...! 6.2L V8 in a small car...can't get any better than that! I guess ultimately, you would need to decide if you want a more daily driveable car, or a more track oriented car.

I would still take the M3, even for the extra money. The M3 defines what a driver's car should be - balanced, composed, smooth and fast. The C63 goes like hell in a line, but I'd be surprised if it could destroy an M3 around a track. It's a big engine on wheels.

How many times will you make full use of the V8's in either car?

I've Driven the C63 AMG but not the M3. The C63 is soo much fun to drive. But atm I cant afford to C63 because it cost in Finland +100k € (EUR) without extra options and Im building a house atm. My previous car was the W204 C-class with Brabus bodykit, sick ass sound system etc. I liked it alot but I like the 335i wayy better
Here's pic of my previous car:

I think the message is pretty clear here...post up pics of the new car you will be getting. Don't be one of those people who asks for advice and does not give the people who responded closure!

is C63 really $10K less? I heard you can get an M3, especially 4-door like C63 for a pretty good price, like around $56K

C63. I drove my co-workers C63 and the power is intoxicating. Plus at full song it sounds like a 69 Camaro.
Sledgehammer = YES

I really like the C63 based on power and exterior looks, but I just can't get past the interior. It doesn't feel like you're in a $60-65K car.

...When I think BMW I think 3 series. The new C-Class is nice body wise, previous generation...... The only thing keeping me from a C63 is no MT and it's a 4 door.
