because I feel Gintani makes the best power! And the Akra has no sound at all when the revs go up over 4000rpm.

Soo loud it could be compared to Zeus roaring!

You definitely have the baddest M3 ever, hopefully you will officially announce what you have done to the rest of the forum very soon!

Be sure to dyno both before and after so we can see difference in power with and without cats.
I suppose stink is inevitable then.

Trust me I have seen it in person on a E90 M3. It looks alright but I would't pay an arm and a leg for a slip on that is only marginally louder than the OEM mufflers.

Off topic, one of these days when I visit Dallas, we'll have to get together for some pictures.

gintani sport.....quieter than the race version same performance numbers
eisenmann sport....quieter than the race version mostly for sound little(3-5hp) performance

Do you have any facts to back these claims up?

facts...hmm use the

1. look up the price difference
2. look up a gintani race dyno (you can look for just the muffler or full system)
3. look up a eisenmann race/sport dyno (you can look for just the muffler or full system) wont be as much power as the gintani or akra

dont get so defensive just because you spent more on your exhaust system doesnt mean your producing more power than my exhaust system(full gintani system) akra and gintani are about the same power wise...but i havent seen the dyno in awhile so gintani might acutally give more power, i have yet to get mine dynoed

Akra has the best of both worlds. Good power gains (not the most, Gintani makes ridiculous power), good sound (sounds badass under load, not sure what you haters are taking about), and no drone. Very livable for everyday driving.

Yes a loud exhaust is cool, but after a while is gets REALLY old. I've been there, done that. Akra is the best solution if you hate drone.

Also, people complaining that Akra is so expensive...The system is maybe $1500 more than most stainless steel aftermarket full systems. You have to remember that with Akra you get a full TITANIUM system that's at least 50lbs lighter than the other systems out there. Check the prices on other titianium full systems and let me know if Akra is really overpriced.
