For sh*ts. (GAME)
GAME (30 day limit):
Let's say someone took away your M3. Let's say that M3 was your only car. And let's say you couldn't get one again. So, what car would you buy on this list? Only what's on the list is available. Should be fun. More details: - Minimum time you must have the car: 3 years. - You take it to the track ~6 times a year - You drive ~12k miles a year. - You can modify it too, anything you'd like, just add modifications with a reply. Hope you guys enjoy this. MISTAKE: GTR isn't a manual, mistyped. Last edited by ki__; 12-14-2013 at 11:52 PM.. |

Tough one. I was going to say Cayman S, but then I realized you said it's the only car. I absolutely adore this car (and the way it looks too), but I don't think I can have a car that small as my primary.
I guess out of all those. I picked the M4 since that was the only choice. I'd rather go YMB M3 though. Kind of hard to tell though, I'd like to see reviews first before I'm 100% sure. Mods? Muffler for sure

Wouldn't want AWD at the track and I need more room. So, Camaro ZL1 for me.

None of the above … I actually got into a Benz and love it it even has Paddle Shifters … then most of you my friends will only appreciate this when you get older like me … 10 years of the M3 series (four of them and seven Bimmers in all) have stilled my hunger.
Strange that the OP did not add the Benz 6.3 to the list of his favourites ...

The only car on the list that's practical/comfortable to DD like your outgoing M3 is the M5 or the M4. The GTR has the space but is unrefined for DD duties in comparison. The other cars on the list are awesome but not if you need the practicality afforded by your M3. So between the M5 and the new M3/4, my vote is the new M3/M4 since the M5 is just too dang big.

Guys almost 50 people voted! Better start than I expected. So far it's playing out exactly the way I thought it would. I am happy to see there is no DCT vs MT running about
Let's get more people! Little surprised that the F-Type R isn't higher in votes. Also surprised how little people have voted for the new M4. Great game so far. I was going to, but it's around 140-150k. So a little out of this price range, even though a M5 could get to the 120s. Personally though if the GT3 was listed it would be my choice 110%. Maybe on the next game Quote:

2 things I will do when I win the Powerball on Tuesday.
Buy kmarei's e30 Evo II and then go right to my local Porsche dealer and buy a black on black GT3! Hey, a guy can dream.

So many votes for the GTR and I'm guessing most haven't actually driven or ridden in one.
I looked at that before going for the M3 and it is not known for it's smooth ride. For a 3 year DD that car would not be on my list at all. To be fair I live in an area with lots of bumpy roads though. Pretty easy vote for me, M4. |
