E93 LeMans Blue /// Fox Red ?

UPDATE: Car was delivered and pics are on page 3 ...

Well, I thought this might look nice so I pulled the trigger on it. Ordered a 2009 E93 M3!!!

The BMW configurator doesn't have LeMans Blue, but does have Interlagos. Any real pics of the LeMans Fox Red combo? I've seen some Interlagos Fox Red combo pictures posted, and I must say, I'm not so sure about the blue - red combination. Hope I don't

when I see it in person.

Maybe the Bamboo would look better on the vert ...

Thoughts?

Hmm i think AW will match the fox red better. Not too sure about your colour combo!

BMW's press photos for the 2009 E92 are Le Mans blue with Fox Red. Check them out here:

Hmmnn ... thanks ... now I know how the concept even got in my head! I now remember seeing those photos. Still, I think they might be nice together, though the color contrast will be that much more prominent with a vert ...

Thanks ... but I'd rather change the leather color than the LeMans ... I really like the LeMans ... the Fox Red is what I'm not sure about.

if you don't like IB with FR, chances are you aren't going to like LMB with FR...

I don't know if anyone ever confirmed that those really are Le Mans Blue. If you want to see the color check out the threads on e90post that have pictures of European 3 series cars with the color. There are some really nice shots of the paint.

Hmm, I think it was stated somewhere in the press release explicitly that these are Le Mans. Wasn't it? Surely they are not Interlagos, so really the only other possibility is Le Mans. In any case, I don't think there are any (other) pictures of Le Mans with Fox Red on E90post or elsewhere. At least not yet. Of course if you just want to see Le Mans on any car with any interior, then yeah the e90Post official thread is a good one, definitely.

Thanks! I thought IB looked nice with FR interior. Now I also think LMB looks nice with FR. I guess I'm in a minority

No, I agree too. Check out monsta's car too if you haven't seen it, he has IB/FR. However, I would not get extended leather (in any color combo) - that's too much. I think this will look really good on an E93 though - it will show off the color well.

thanks ... I checked out monsta's car and it does look nice. I'll opt for the extended also. For some reason this color combo just "clicked" for me ...

I can't fathom why anyone would combine blue and red on a car. I've seen Montego and Coral on a 335i and it is absolutely vile.

Nevermind the exterior color, I would never get Corral Red at all simply becaue it is way too bright for an interior IMHO.

Fox red is a much deeper color with a lot of brown tone to it. It looks a lot more like the (now defunct) Terra leather from the 3 series than it does Corral, and that color never raises an eyebrow when in a blue car.

FR was never a consideration for me on my IB order for two reasons: (1) the FR is just too orange for my taste, and (2) even a more subtle red, like Cinnamon on the E46, combined with blue isn't my cup of tea.

I almost hate to give my personal opinion on these types of topics because the OP, like many others, could really like this unusual color combo, and we could be talking him out of what would be the best setup for him.
