Am I nuts to go to Costco for tire replaced?

Just ordered tires via costco.ca online. I am a costco fan and love their customer services. However, I am new to tire installation at costco.
I ordered specific stock tire sizes for my 220m wheels. Anyone have opinions? I just dont want any trouble when installing tires.

That's where I bought and installed my tires at. I had no problems with them. As for the warranty of 20,000 miles; if your tires are staggered (wider backs), then the warranty is cut in half. But they will continue to rotate them for free. Also the Michelin Pilot Super Sport have no directional arrows, so they don't have to be dismounted for rotation.

They are just having $70 discount for set of 4 michelin tires, so I was what the heck, sure. I really didn't search for best prices online. I just love costco lol. Tire installation is only $60 for a set of 4.
My rear tires are done but front pair have some life (245/35/19 Michelin A/S 3) maybe about 30-40%. If someone wants it, you can have it for a 15 pack of beer.

I just got my monthly costco snail-mail flyer and they were running the 1 cent (USD) per tire installation promotion in addition to the usual $70 off. Idk if that is a thing in Canada as well, but look into it; could save you an additional $60!

My tire guy was $200 less than Costco for Michelin as3's for the girlfriend's car. Find a tire guy that is willing to play ball. Also, Costco won't mess with tires on your car that aren't oem sizes.

I bought my Michelin Pilot Sport PS4s at Costco. I did not have them installed there because they said that they did not have a machine to do 35 series tires. Instead they gave me a discount of $15 a tire. Cost me more than that to have them mounted, but having watched them try to mount one 40 series on another car, I felt better about the decision.
The cost was less than going to Tire Rack and picking up at a UPS Store on the US side.

I will be surprised if they tell me they can't fit OEM stock tires after 3 weeks of long appointment. I probably will refuse to accept the tires if they can't mount them on my car. Picking up tires from US is still cheaper anyways.

Just buy the tires from Costco and get it mounted else where. Their machines sometimes aren't the latest up to date ones that could fit wide tires without damaging or scratching the wheels.

That is what I did. You are right about not having the latest machinery. It seems to depend upon the location.
