what did you expect from an italian show car?

maserati is like aston martin...all show and reliability issues that are costly.

Porsche looks ugly and won't give you status, but it drives great.

If you truly want a great driver's car and a looker...there is only one answer: Ferrari...which is likely too expensive.

There is no win-win situation man; the best driver's car that is affordable (Porsche) is ugly and looks meek and small, feeble...but its amazing. I used to think the R8 was an exception, but it has the Audi badge which ain't Porsche, it looks kinda funny after the the couple years of hype...it certainly aint' lambo or Ferrari pretty...and its AWD, which is annoying in a sports car because you don't feel as connected and you bog off the line with 6MT as power lags in the AWD tranny.

The rest drive like crap but look great at the curb.

How immigrant do you want to be? At some point you need to be comfy with your status. your call.

Don't ever trade in dude, you are throwing away thousands. Sell your cars, and buy the one you want.

The benz is an old mans car but it is a vert.

The Maser is plain SEXY!

I got the chance to test drive a Maser GT when it first came out. It was ok. Not that fast, quick but not fast. drove nice, handled well, solid ride, comfortable, sounded great. awesome interior but I could not justify the price. They were so expensive for what? Mind you maintenance won't be cheap either...What about an Aston Martin or a 6 series?

For that matter, why not a CPO M5?

I was bummed to read your review on the Maser' =( It appears to be impressive on the streets and sounds it...guess it doesn't drive that way =\

have you looked at maybe a Porsche? you can probably find a cpo 911 for mid 70's ??

Why the hell would you go from e92 M3 to e92 335i? If you have the kind of money for these cars then surely you shouldn't have problems with most cars you want? Unless you're a rich boy who's parents buys him his cars? That's the only reason I can think of for someone to get tired of a e92 M3? One who didn't have to work for it.

i drive like 35k to 40k miles a year and 335i is better as a daily. also potential of mods on 335i is much more then m3. Some memebers here came from m3 to 335i too

A good friend of mine has a Maserati; it's a beautiful car in every aspect. With that being said, I don't think he'd buy another as he's had a lot of problems with it.

I live in the Northeast US, you don't see too many of them. I was in South Florida (South Beach) last week and they seemed to be the car of choice as they were everywhere.

GTR all the way.. or the z06, reliability issues with the maserati might just sour your whole experience with the car. Go with something thats proven to be reliable. Oh and dont think just because its a Nissan its not a worthy mention.. it aint no maxima.
