Do you get anything else when doing PCD with the car (any extras besides whats stated)? My CA made it seem like he was doing something special by having the M3 mats put in at PCD. I pick the car up on may 12th.

My e93 came with ///M mats. That's the least a dealer can do when selling you an 80k car.

When I wrangled the $500 over invoice deal on my car, the manager complained that I'm really squeezing him considering he's got to give me a full tank of gas and floor matts! Yep - there were other dealers in the area willing to go $500 BELOW invoice. I'm fine to keep them in business and definitely think I got a reasonable deal - IF I get the floor matts!

Wow, you would think an ED would at least get them......

My dealer throws them in, NO CHARGE. As they put it, "No way we are delivering an ///M without those ///M3 mats.

No, I didn't pay some huge markup, got a GREAT price on the car.

It all depends on the dealer I guess.....

Cheers,

Picked up my car yesterday and it had M3 mats. When I got to the financing I found I paid $138 for them. Nice touch BMW and Chapman. Customer service at it's best!

I got some generic BMW mats. I then asked for ///M mats but the most I could get was the rubber, all-season mats.

Didn't really care that I got it or not, but it annoyed me because I sent two more customers his way. One of them bought an e92 M3 and was able to get a free IPod/Iphone option and free tints installed.

Does anyone know the weight savings between the generic mats and the M logo mats? It has to be at least 6 ounces per mat with all the material that makes up the logo.

If so, is it reallly worth having this performance killer just for vanity's sake?

After reading this thread I checked with my CA, since my M3 just finished production, and he said that they are expose to come with the M3 mats from delivery but he went ahead and ordered a full set just in case, probably just covering his own ass.
