I completely disagree. After traveling the world and having lived in Boston for 4 years, I believe Los Angeles has some of the best roads in the country. The ground never freezes, which is a primary cause of potholes.

You may have bent some rims, but noone even bothers with low profile tires in places like Boston. You would be throwing money away. I've popped 3 regular 17" sport tires driving there. LA is a paradise.

That's been the policy for like forever. Not sure why for sure, but could have to do with
1. Don't want competitors to see what's hot, what's not sales-wise
2. Random test mules arriving
3. Cars don't look overly pretty just off the boat

That's the policy, but they have allowed some people touring the facility to take pics under supervision, so when they hear your story, they might let you take pics of your own car only...
