Just had to book my E90 in for an 8K service...started @ 14k and rapidly changed to 12, 10, 9 and now 8...Dealer quoted me £350 inc VAT...nearly needed a "defib". Don't think that I particularly run my car that hard...but as someone said earlier no-one said running an M was cheap...not looking forward to 8K service intervals at that price though.

We have to pay 50% more for the car, have only 2 years warranty and pay every single service - enjoy your ride
So a M3 car in Germany would cost the USD equilavent of $100,000?

When I picked up my US Spec M3 at the German dealer (the military sales groups delivers at the German dealer as they need to do the PDI), I saw a German spec E90 in SSII/Fox Red. It looked like it had the tech package, 19inch wheels and cold weather. Not sure about the premium package or not. Price was about 69,000 Euro, so about $98,800. I do believe that is without the VAT, although I am not sure. The value added tax on most goods is 19%. There is also most likely other registration taxes in there as well.

I hate to see what my E93 would go for, but I do appreciate now why it gets a lot of attention over here. I also can understand why the German folks that work the on-post registration office looked at me in a weird way.

Same in Turkey too. I paid nearly 400 USD for 10 liters of oil and oil filter.

Not just in Germany but in whole EUROPE!

Bone stock E92 M3 goes for here in Slovenia,Europe for 76000EUR=104000USD

So when you throw on the car some equipmant like navi, dct, full leather, edc and other ... the price goes up to 90000-95000EUR= 124000-130000USD

Or like that FULLY LOADED E92 M3, and the price is 107000€=147000USD
