I'm sorry.. but that is the greatest display of signalling I have EVER seen.

Honestly, it doesn't look too much worse than 495 or 264 on a friday afternoon. If people understood what the left lane was for, it wouldn't look so bad.

Going to UNC, I remember driving through I40 and getting weird stares and people flashing their brights at me because I wasn't too keen on their desire to hold up traffic by driving side by side by side going 5 over.

People's perception on who is "worse"... the weaving maniac or the guy who is deliberately holding up traffic is completely dependent on the roads they're used to. While this video was so beyond acceptable, similar driving can be pretty commonplace on lightly dense urban highways with relatively low traffic

You guys are being fooled. It's fake. The timer is overlayed on the video. Count the white lines going by per 5 or 10 secs when they are cruising with the traffic, then count them as referenced to the traffic's speed when they're "going fast". The traffic all magically accelerates very quickly.

Also, doesn't it seem the way the camera jiggles is different when they're "flying through traffic"?

Interesting theory, but IF that was the case, the music (and speech) would sound sped-up too. You can hear the acceleration along with the normal timed music. It'd take some serious editing to overlay the multiple audio tracks and then time it to the video just right. Its legit IMO.

I suppose... Just looks like they pushed the fast-forward button, doesn't it? Watch 3:00 to 3:20. As the Porsche and M3 slow down the camera goes from extremely shaky in a unnatural way to very smooth. Guess I can't explain the sound though.

Nope, unfortunately this is legit. And quite comically, the way you can tell is because of the M3's signaling- the blinkers flash at the same rate regardless of how fast the cars are going. If the video was sped up in certain parts, you'd notice the turn signals speeding up as well.

Hah. People understanding what the left lane is for. Here in America the right lane is the passing lane 90% of the time.

That was some pretty stupid driving though. I've driven at some crazy speeds before, but only on empty highways in the middle of PA or at night with the high beams on. I would never try anything like that. Way too dangerous.
