You can def tell when you adjust cruise control that the car responds faster to the adjustments. I have the 6mt and I dont think I ever downshifted to pass anybody. No extra noise at all. I still have stock exhaust for now. The cars drivability is great, very much like oem. I wish the car came this way!!!

Where is the aftercooler located? Normally it's between the blower and the manifold. Is it in the manifold?

The after cooler is inside the manifold.

I'm gonna wait a lil before I track it. I'm gonna need a dedicated set of track wheels and tires. The canyons are already tearing up those rear 295's LOL!!! Also working on another lil project.... Hopefully in time for summer but it's Top Secret!

Random question, but does the by-pass valve produce sounds similar to a blow-off valve?

If so is this sound just as audible as say the AA kit, or is it a bit more muffled?

You can't hear it at all. Blows back into the intake. You can kinda hear the air release but it's not tire puncture noise your thinking of.

OP, congrats on your supercharger. Impressive
After reading your review, i am seriously interested to get this kit. Already contacted the vendor and they told me that a promo price for VF 620 is $12,510 right now and it will cost me $14,000 to get it with an installation. What do you think about the price?
Is it right?

Sorry to hear. This is my second VF blower. I had one on my e46 330. I've had nothing but a great experience. There's been quite a few super charger tuners making these kits in the last 10 years, VF is still around and alot of the others are not. Remember when everyone was on the Technic bandwagon? LoL! Maybe you should give them a second chance? I'm not gonna get in a debate about who's better than who ect... There's been enough of those. I think EAS won the tuner shoot out with their VF kit at MFest. From the videos Tom has posted it looks like he's been beating the bloody hell out of his car with no issues.
