newb question about reflectors
First time BMW owner. Car just arrived in Oxnard, Ca for processing. I was told 5-10 days before it arrives at dealership.
I for sure want to get color matched reflectors for my Jerez Black. But does that mean when I turn on my turn signal that the there's no amber bulb in the actual headlight? I know I know. I'm buying a car that I know nothing about. Haha. But it's an M3. What more do I need to know?

The reflectors are just that and they are located on the bumper, not in the headlight.
If you want to mess with the headlights, that's whole other ballgame. |

The always-on lit up amber corner lights requires coding (note that the bulbs on the sidemarkers are already clear LED and the corner ones are clear as well). For painted reflectors, buy the IND kit here. Better yet, just pick up the cosmetic kit.

Right. Two separate entities. So there's an amber bulb in the headlight. And I don't need to worry about crappy cops? Hahaha (probably).

I would doubt you would have trouble with cops over the bumper reflectors and prob not with the headlights either, but you never know.

Turns out I was wrong, there is actually a slightly amber bulb in the corner lights.. but I mean.. they are really not very noticeable. The only thing you will notice is the always-on amber light but that can be disabled with coding. Otherwise, basically invisible. The most immediately noticeable problem is the amber reflectors. Those MUST go ASAP.

Funny, how come this car doesn't have front reflectors? Are they a 2012 issue?
