My Le Mans Blue E90 in Malibu

Hi guys. I just had my car detailed this morning by Eric at Image Detailing Service. He came to my place and put sealant and wax on. As you can see, he did a great job on the car--highly recommended.

I bought the car from David at Russel BMW (bmwsonline.com) based on reading about other's experiences on this forum. David gave me a great deal and was very helpful throughout.

The tint is FormulaOne Pinnacle (ceramic), installed by the guys at Sun Dimmers in Saugus: 50% on the front side windows and 35% for the rest. This is the second car I've had tinted there. They are very professional.

I took the car out to Malibu this afternoon and got these photos. Le Mans Blue really does project a wide range of colors depending on the light. The camera is a Canon SD800IS, nothing special, but it did all right. Next time I'll have to remember to straighten the front wheels before I do a shoot.

Ran into a real jerk of a cop (LA County) when I was getting the first couple of shots. Yes, I was parked in a no parking zone, but give me a break. The guy couldn't just tell me to move my car, he had to gripe at me for five minutes about how unbelievably stupid I was for parking there. Yet another elementary school bully who turned it into a career. (No, I don't put all officers in this category.)

Very true! That's what I get for not paying $8 to park in one of the lots just to stay on pavement. Traffic sure sucked yesterday. I was starting to think I wouldn't make it anywhere decent before the sun went down.

This may be noob of me, but what's with the side "vents"? The black grating goes the whole length of the chrome part!?

Is that new for 09 or just on E90 M3s?

Doesn't look bad by any means, just threw me off as I haven't seen that before.

they are different from the E92's.
