This is with a GoPro mounted to the windshield

I have a Delkin Fat Gecko that works pretty good.

You are braver than I. For some reason I can't trust those mounts with our new camera.

Nick - Buy a crappy camera and drive the hell out of it on a mount until you're confident it will not fall off.

Not a bad idea at all, one of those Flip HD recorders would do the trick.

mine actually flew off after the fourth run..

. probably my fault though. camera seems ok just scratched

What kind of mount? There's no way something like a Fat Gecko should fall off.

It was probably my fault.. gave it a few good tugs before taking off and seemed stable
