Nick - Buy a crappy camera and drive the hell out of it on a mount until you're confident it will not fall off.

mine actually flew off after the fourth run.. . probably my fault though. camera seems ok just scratched

What kind of mount? There's no way something like a Fat Gecko should fall off.

It was probably my fault.. gave it a few good tugs before taking off and seemed stable
