Thank you for clarifying, I know they ran out of meth and did turn it off at the switch. They really love running these kits and love the eye candy under the hood, not to mention the sound they provide.

Thought I'd help with the difference in Gen 1 HKS (older) and Gen 2 Rotrex (Current) kits
-Older kits -HKS Gen 1 Stg 1 Water/meth NOT needed. -HKS Gen 1 Stg 2 Water/meth NEEDED. -Current kits -Rotrex Gen 2 Stg 1 Water/meth NOT needed. -Rotrex Gen 2 Stg 2 Water/meth NOT needed. -Rotrex Gen 2 Stg 3 Water/meth NEEDED. -The Water/meth mix ratio is 51% de-minealized water to 49% Methanol -If you run out of fluid or have an issue with the Water/meth system... the tune has safeguards but doesn't mean you can keep pushing the car. Drive moderate till you can fill up or fix the system issue. -Here are some photos so you can see the differences in the blowers. First photo is pulley side of the blowers and second photo is the bodies of the blowers |
