Hey guys, read this comparison between an F1 engine and NASCAR..... it is a good read and quite enlightening on how amazing the current NASCAR engines really are:

The Cup motors are now higher in horsepower than the article states.850 875 is the norm with over 900 being developed for special short events according to somebody in the know that drives these cars.

That depends, maybe you would use a "booster" so you could have a couple cracks at it and not just one

That makes it even more impressive then. EPI actually does engineering on cylinder heads for an unnamed NASCAR team.

They were the company trying to get the BBChevy certified in the Aero Commander that I flew in North Africa in 1980.That engine was developed by Orenda here in Toronto.I had the opportunity to visit them when they were doing test cell runs on development engines.
