Thinking about doing this as my autox/track set up with rs3's? Forge line Zx3r.. I'm sure about the 18x10's but unsure about the offset. Help.

18x10 has been done, but is aggressive. Certainly possible that fender liner modification or camber change may be needed. 265/35R18 or 275/35R18 tires.

For comparison, the 18x10 wheels I sell are ET25.

oh wow i didn't realize you were from tirerack. im gonna get the KW clubsports so i think i can fix the camber through that.

Are you running an aftermarket suspension? If you are then the tire will most likely rub on the adjustable spring collar on the front damper with a 10et28 wheel. I'm running a 9.5et22 with a 255 PSS and there's < 0.25" of clearance.

There's a ton of room to the inside on the rear, so ET28 vs. ET25 shouldn't be a big deal. The front would be where I would be concerned with strut clearance.

You cannot run KW Clubsports with any offset of less than 20mm on the front. Anything less aggressive than 20mm, the wheel/tire will jam right into the coilover body.

You cannot run a 28mm with KW Clubsports, so don't even try to attempt to. This is all given the wheel is 10" wide in the front.

This sounds more like an issue with the lower spring perch/spring touching the tire and not the actual strut tube itself. It's a very common problem on BMW's to have the lower spring perch set too low resulting in a significant loss of inner strut tube clearance. If the tender springs on the clubsports are removed, then the spring perch could be run higher allowing for the needed clearance to fit ET25.

This is true. I have shaved rubber bits, and burnt paint on the springs to prove it. With a 25mm you'll need a 5mm spacer up front to clear the clubsports. If it were me, I'd get a 18x10 +20mm. Run some extra camber up front and you should be good. You can even go lower than that in the rear, there's room. I run 18x10.5 +15mm on 285/35's in the rear with no issues.

I never thought about removing the helper spring to get the perch higher. Good idea.
