Screw in tire ... question.

I found a screw embedded in the center of my front tire (not in the groove/channel). If I pull it out and there's no leak is it safe to drive on or should it be fixed? It's a decent sized screw with threads.

Well put it this way, your doing 100mph and in the back of your mind your saying, I wonder if that tyre will blow out! Should I tell my wife who is sitting beside me.

In a sports car it it worth it, $300 or your life or your car!
