And congrats on a 2012! You're going to love it. MR was a great choice too (my 2nd choice after SG)

But now that you spent most of your budget on an exhaust, barely any more room for other mods. I say with the $1k you have left, get used front lip and rear diffuser. I like the Akra diffuser a lot (over the Vorsteiner)
Yea I'm pretty excited about it, I can tell already it is going to be worth every cent.

I was choosing between SG and MR and I decided to go with the less common one. You only live once... Yea I'm planning on just a JL front lip and diffuser to keep the costs down and then all the colored grills and small stuff. I already have two big money mods (wheels and exhaust), and I don't want anymore. I may do the Macht Schnell intake kit and pulley as well though.

Don't worry, I like loud, especially F1, high-pitched loud. I had a fully catless exhaust on my 335i with one of the louder exhausts you can get for them (the vanguard one), and it was very tame to me. I'm in my early 20's so I like loud and exotic things

I was thinking about it, but decided against it. My 335 was HEAVILY modified and as a result it has never been in a bmw dealer for service (only has 4800 miles) because I didn't want anything voided.

So, for my M3 I want to go with very light mods because I will be driving it a lot more, I might even drop the extra money on the dinan pulley for warranty purposes (instead of a MS one) and just switch out the intake for dealer visits.

Get the exhaust!

The Innotech exhaust sounds awesome especially with the valves open accompanied with aggressive downshifts.

If you really want loud and exotic, they have the Rumore version...
I have the Tubi, and live the sound. It is more in the lines of a Maserati than a Mustang, looks stock at the tips, and howls. It's that intangible sound of an Italian Sports car. Plus, not many people have it.

I see you went ahead and bought the exhaust, hope you love it. Let me know if you need it installed or are looking for other mods. I am here to help locally.

I wouldn't do pulley. I read somewhere that it can cause some issues and isn't worth it if you're not making the car a dedicated track car and want every bit of power out of it. But I don't have aftermarket pulley, so I have no personal experience.
