Hi Buddy,

I have not received any codes on my OBD period. As Omar assured me, the change of the X-pipe will not flag up any codes. I suppose this would only occur if I installed a HFC but all is fine and dandy Went to my dealer to check out my pipes and OBD emissions reading via their Diagnostic plug in system and everything is fine.

Glad you appreciate the note.

Not everyday you get free stuff from the dealers.

Hi Mate, Thanks for your appreciation. I really love the sound of my system and love my car more than I can ever express. I'll try do some mini clips of my ///M sometime today behind the airport runway where there are no cars and hopefully none of my cop friends.

Well, truth be told i didn't do anything to over come CEL activation. AA assured me that I should get any CELs and based on my service center mechanics analysis, they said, everything looks sweet.

Haha! Easy, treat them like human beings. Well I never rush them or show my temper period no matter how frustrated I am with them. The occasional lunch or coffee (once in 3 to 6months) should suffice.

Best tip: Treat them like a friend rather than just a Service Manager / Assistant.

Still dont get it. If you dont have your primary cats there, you definitely would be throwing a code.

Well I can assure you that the primary CATS have not been touched, hence the absence of the CEL indicator. This X-pipe system only removes the secondary CATS.

You should go read up on it on the website mate or snoop around. That's what I did

Reference: http://www.activeautowerke.com/viewp...x?id=Product86

I quote the 5th line "This system eliminates the secondary cats with the option to eliminate the primary cats for off road use."

Shop around bro, am sure you may find other stuff too.

please let us know when you get CEL's, they wont happen right away, but they will. The option you bought does not have primary cats, especially since aa has not listed the availability of the high flow cat version, they have only listed the price. Love the mods youve done

Here is the picture that they posted of the catless and cated version. I think its obvious which one you bought (catless)

No worries bro...

Although I reckon you might be jinxing me. haha... I scrolled through my previous correspondences with Omar and I reckon there is probably a reason as to why he would "need" me to send my ECU to him. Having said that though, I may take my system of for a few weeks and hang out for an o2 simulator by RISS RACING as it comes recommend by Ron from **********s. Reckon that would work? No all that keen ripping out my damn ECU on my own.

Waiting to hear back on the compatibility aspect from RON as his site mentions its only for 335 etc...
http://www.**********s.com/product.a...2_Simulator_KY

Despite good relations with my service manager and assistant, I doubt they'll really want to help dismount my ECU from the ///M.

If you have a diagnostic reader, when (if) you do get CEL's send an email over to Riss Racing telling them the errors you are getting. I know they are working on the o2 simulator for the m3. However, they said they didnt have enough cars to perform an adequate test at the present time. By telling them the error codes it will help them with development, and maybe even cut you a deal when they are available.

Gosh, with the discover of so many items, vendors and websites, I almost FORGOT what the hell i ordered. Before 10am today, I am hoping to receive the following items and fit them by 430pm:
  1. Vorsteiner CF Front Lip
  2. AA Signature X-Pipes
  3. Camaross's Custom 8000k HID light

Unfortunately I don't have the pictures as yet, but i shall endeavor to get the up with any relevant video especially for my VORSTEINER Titanium Exhaust & X-pipe combo.

In advance, I just want to thank Mike Lam of Vorsteiner, Omar Murray from Active and Camaross for their patience and advice on technicals relating to my ///M's concern.

Happy New Year Again

Hi mate... thanks for your kudos! Unfortunately my video footage will be done in about two weeks. I couldn't bare the thought of getting a CEL popping out anytime so I've ripped out and shipped my ECU to AA. Decided to go for the full tuning inclusive of CEL removal. *fingers crossed* i get it back in 1.5weeks.

No code yet, but as JuniorDee may have jinxed me, I've decided to be a lil more proactive and get the ECU flashed by AA. Just couriered the ECU to them this afternoon.

Haha... thanks for highlighting the address of CEL and getting me to clarify with AA on the matter. Took advice from AA and my bro-in-law to go all the way rather than half hearted with the tuning. ECU is otw to Miami. How's your ride going? you done anything yet?
