Hurricane Sandy - Aftermath
Hope everyone is fine out there but it seems Sandy hit South Brooklyn pretty hard. Not to mention other areas of queens, nj...etc
Bunch of my friends cars got totaled due to flooding past the windows and winds pushing them around into other cars, trees... houses. Hope you guys are all good |

Lives are lost. Houses are swept away. Property damaged. People are waiting in line for gas anywhere from 1-4 hours for $20 ration. Many are without power and heat. This is real. Everyone is experiencing difficulty at varying levels. Take good care.

this gas shortage got people going crazy. I seen lines that take over the entire neighborhood(literally). People are waiting for gas that isn't there. I've been out of work since monday and no telling when I will be able to go back. I work in lower manhattan.

It's funny how you would never image Brooklyn or in general NYC to have no heat, power and especially gas. There are hundreds of gas stations here and only some of them have gas at times which runs out quick. Looks like some people even started steeling gas from other cars.

The M3 is the wrong car to drive during this gas shortage. My car hasn't been turned on in a week.
