IMO you need to add rims to that list of mods. I just can't stand the 18's.......especially on the blue. Just my opinion though. Congrats on the new ride !!!!!

Okay, I'll bite. Suggestions? I like the style/look of the OEM 19s but I just can't stand the "chrome" look they have--especially on blue. On AW or Silverstone--awesome. Any ideas on 19s that aren't all chrome looking? I'm going with the black gills, grills, and my exhaust is ceramic matte black as well. So I'd like to keep with that "theme"....I could always keep the 18s as track wheels.

I still get to row gears in my DD...which I'm putting a few $s into for whack-a-cone fun and newbie training. I'm not taking the new baby out to autocross this year. (Plus the DD needs some work anyway.)

Plus, the wife is happy. Trust me, that's worth a lot--especially if when it means she's not just a "that's nice dear" kind of wife about cars/driving but actually wants to track the damn thing. Sure, it's a bit of a compromise, but in a couple of years, who knows, she could keep the M3 and I'll be on to something else--with a MT!
