are you asking about 50hp from an E9X M3 or an E46 M3 listed in your profile?

intake exhaust tune will do it from some manufactures "claims".... intake full exhaust software pulley and upgraded throttle bodies will get you there from what I consider to be a more reputable manufacturer (i.e. see my signature....)

in all seriousness, if i want to get that much power and i was you...i would do the following:
if you are set on a N/A Option: ~50-55hp & $7000
if you are open to a F/I Option: ~120hp & $8000
many people prefer to stay N/A for various reasons, but you can see the value of the ESS Tuning VT1-535...

Lol
Sorry guys I haven't updated my profile, no more E46 M3, I'm getting out of a 135i and about to place an order on a 2011 M3 ZCP DCT.
I had an order on a 1M but I think the M3 will suit me better. So I was wondering what bolt ons can give me an extra 50 hp. |

The most significant power increase that you can make is to go full catless exhaust and then a tune to maximize the exhaust mode.
After this you can add a pulley kit and a drop in air filter. Don't bother with intake systems they won't give you that much. A drop in air filter is enough. So you have: 1. Full catless exhaust 2. A tune (that is for the catless setup to get rid of CEL and maximize the hp gain from the exhaust) 3. pulley kit 4. drop in air filter This should take you close to what you want. |

I know a new LSD won't give you any engine HP, but it will make you feel as if your car is faster, particularly in the lacking low RPMs. But that was not your question so ^^^ this above me.

Correct and it won't cost you $7k to do it either.
I would do the following: 1. Turner test pipes ($395) 2. Software for no primaries ($995) 3. Pulley ($395) 4. Drop in filter ($100) You can even keep the stock muffler.. This will get you close to that number..maybe 35-40rwhp. Dave

Like said before:
Fully catless Catless (appropriate) tune Pulleys Drop-in filter Maybe you won't get the full 50whp.. but those are the mods that will get you to as close as you'll be before you need a blower. |
