Best place to detail car near Upland area

I got a new Black/Black M3 and am looking for the best detail shop near my area that can make the car look better than new. Anyone know of any detail shops in this area that go the extra mile on black cars?

hi. I live in La Verne. DIY man. Stop being lazy j/k. I DIM all the time: start w/ a clay, go to polish (menzerna), sealant by Chemical Guys, and then wax.
But, by the time I am done, I need to file for social security, AARP, Medicare, and the senior citizen discount, cause I feel like an old man even though I am 36. But the finished product looks amazing.

I'd have to see the car in person to give you an accurate quote. PM me if you'd like.

Car is like 3 months old, always garaged and has some water spots on it from some sprinklers. Hidden charges I suppose

Based on what you have shared I dont see where this job should cost you anymore than $300 - $400 to dial up the exterior of your vehicle.......And it may be even a bit less, again depending on how extensive these water spots are or how well your vehicle was maintained since you purchased it. No professional detail company that has a reputation will have hidden charges or "Smoke and Mirror" you.

I don't like giving quotes without seeing the car's exact condition. If I quote $300 for what you think will be a quick job and it ends up taking 30 hours, I would have sold myself short. The detail in these pictures was from a customer who said the car had "a few" water spots and thankfully I didn't quote him a price without seeing the car in person, because it looked like this:

This detail was about 35 hours, which was far longer than what I had anticipated given the customer's description. Any detailer worth their salt that's doing a full correction will see the car in person or in pictures before giving the customer an accurate quote.

My hood looks like that and it was only under the sprinklers twice since I got it so it doesn't take much to get a hood like that. $400 sounds a bit steep to me

No way. $400 is a fair price if a car is in that condition, especially the color..all IMO of course. Eclipse does top of the line work, and if you do the math $400 for roughly 40 hours, he isn't raping you on the price either. He's putting a LOT of work into it and I think he deserves every cent, especially for detailing that MR M3 back into pristine condition.

So 40 hours for $400?? Assuming one person worked 10 hours a day it would take 4 days to finish detailing my car and if 2 people worked 10 hours a day on it then it would take 2 days.

I don't really know how long he works, some people work less hours a day, some work more.

Someone here once sent me a pm with a guy out of Azusa who worked from his home (Filipino dude). I lost his contact details for some reason and can not find them. Would love to be able to get in touch with this person again.

Dude, your math is waaaaaayy off. 40hrs for $400 is crack head pricing. If a detailer told me he is charging $10 an hour for correction I would laugh in his face. Most pro detailers charge anywhere from $25 up, a 40hr job would be in the $1500 range and would be a Concours level detail or maybe a full correction with wetsanding included and 2 layers of Crystal Rock as an LSP
