Talking 2011 E92 M3 - European Delivery + Performance Delivery

Greetings all, I'm a new member of the M/BMW family after many years of preparing to buy an M3

Since I had plenty of saved up vacation time, frequent flier miles, and had finally made the decision to go with the M3, I decided to go for the full experience and pick up my car in Munich, then pick it up again at the NA headquarters. Plus it made sense since I purchased from Ryan at Steve Thomas BMW and would have to travel to pick it up anyways since my local dealership were jerks. Side note on Ryan: great guy, fantastic experience, I'll definitely be buying from him for my next BMW.

I actually wanted to wait to post until I returned from PCD, but I am a bit too excited and feel like I might be starting to bother other people with my constant "my car will be here soon" and such. It also doesn't help that my car was dropped off this morning (Saturday) at the port in Brunswick, GA.

Since I'm not quite ready to spill all the beans, I will spill a few pics of the new baby!

Waiting for me...

Yep, Le Mans. I pretty much had to go with the CF roof because I need the extra headroom from the sunroof delete!

Also, thanks! The wait to pick it up in SC is killing me. Congrats on yours too!

Color looks great!

Did you get Pilot Super Sports on your car, or are those PS2s?

None of my pictures are clear enough to see, and I don't recall. I'll be able to check soon, though.

I won't name names, but after the way some other BMW dealerships treated me, I'm happy to bring my business to people who actually want it... Now I just need to find an excuse to order a 2012 M3 so I can do the Individual options I didn't have time to do this time around!

Congrats. Glad you were able to come over to Munich and enjoy it on the Autobahn. I have LeMans Blue one coming that I pick up on 11 Oct. I am stationed here with the military and they give us the option to pick up at the Welt. Can't wait to see your pics.

DO you guys know if with European Delivery you can get the CP with 220 wheels instead of the 359's; MIchelin SP instead of PS2?? Also can u get the M performance exhaust installed in Munich instead that in the US? If yes/no, Is this dealership dependent or just a BMW rule??

Thanks

Yes you can get the 220M rims.
No you can't choose which tires come with the car, it's a luck of the draw. Mine came with Michelin PS2's.
I don't think you can get the performance exhaust installed before it reaches gets stateside.
