Please sell/trade me your 19's!

Will trade new 18's + cash, cash outright or any combination of both. Help! My car is almost here and I don't want 18's nor do I want to go aftermarket.

Thanks,
J

No need for 18"s here. How much cash are you willing to part with?

pm me

*Edit* this is just for the wheels...no rubber as I plan on using what's on there already.

I don't think you will find anyone wanting to trade. Best bet is to buy some take-off 19s from someone going aftermarket, and to sell your 18s to someone looking for track or snow wheels. Tires should be readily marketable.

the price comes out to just about what you would pay BMW if they were to sell you a set for their cost without sales tax/shipping if needed. Saving $221 on tax in cali at least. If I sold them for less I would be giving away money that I just payed for in my car as the rims are included in the vehicle price...I would understand a deal 6 months down the road or well used rims with 30%-40% off but 10% off a brand new set...Expecally a backordered set. well its up to the buyer I guess.

It just seemed high to me. You're asking retail prices for a used set of wheels. I can get 10% off a set immediately from BMW since I'm a BMW CCA member and some BMW dealers sell at a 20 or 25% discount in the back of magazines like Roundel and Bimmer.

It's a free market economy and you're allowed to ask whatever you wish for your wheels and tire. It just seemed pretty high to me.

Hopefully you'll be able to get the price you're asking. Hell some dealers sold M3s at 20K over sticker, so there's some rich people out there that don't care what the cost is.

Good luck.

true you can get 10% of there list price. their cost on them are approx $650 their list is $745, that you can find out your self if needed I'm not trying to fool anyone. I'm just knocking off approx $300-$500 off list price not to mention sales tax and saving the 3 to 6 month wait. And if anyone can find a dealer like roundel or bimmer that can have you a set within the next 6 months then your probably better off going with them.

I understand the wanting to find things for a better price but again I just don't want to give them away. If fact if the 2 people that I have in line to buy them both drop out and I cant find someone else to buy for the price I am asking I would rather keep them for track tires cause all know track tires will probably cost me just as much.

take off wheels sell for about 50 to 60% of retail. It also depends if these wheels will fit other like BMW's (335i etc). If so prices will be on the high side. and if not, then they will be low. there should be a lot of people who got shorted on the 19's so that may help the price.

in the past I bought a brand new set of 18 inch e46 wheels with pilots only 200 miles for 1200.

I got 18" s on mine due to the shortage. Was going to pick up a set of 19"s from the dealer. Holly smoke, your price is not bad, if I had purchased the Rims, Tires, Sensors, Center Cap and M3 Emblem, you are talking clost to 6k here in Europe. I lucked out and found a OEM set on E-bay with tires only about 500 miles on them for 2k. Those deals are far and few. In the end state, yes, yes, yes the 19's look better, but they ride very hard, the car is no longer as smooth as the 18"s with taller side walls were.
