Anyone in the local NYC area have a dealer license and the ability to buy cars?
Im looking to buy a pick up truck for my son. We are looking at the Nissan Frontier or the Toyota Tacoma, year 2001-2003. Looking to spend around 5-6500$ max. Does anyone even have feedback on these trucks and any suggestions? I see the toyota a hold their value even with high mileage, nissans sort of but not as high. I found a nissan '02, 89k asking 6,300$ one owner bought from the auction and sitting in a dealer. I car faxed it and it seems ok, but the rear metal bumper had rust which made me nervous. It's from north NJ.

Any truck, crawl under and look at the frame. I'd go with the toyota over a nissan for a used truck. Nissans always seem to have something up with them for some reason. The tacoma holds value very well.
