Can't beat megan for the money.. sounds amazing and no drone.

I installed mine with a jack + jack stands with a basic tool set in about an hour. I had to make a trip to home depot for a couple nut and bolts for a couple bux - this is the part that is always missing.

ALl in all, I spent $550 for the exhaust, $180 to Bullet Performance (for nothing), and $75 at Welding Works to install and correct all the flaws. Not bad. I wouldn't trade this exhaust for anything else.
Where did you order from if you don't mind me asking? Free ship?
i got mine off ebay. there are several for $550 with free shipping

Damn.. I just got mines installed and the left side also sticks out a few MM further. There is a vit of drone at around 2500 rpm at all gears.... is this normal? I dont hear any exhaust leaks though...

Had a Megan before, now I am running Remus us sound($2200).
I would say, Megan is amazing, sounds louder, 1/4 the price, less drone.

Get it fitted better. I had fitment issues with the first installer then I took it to Welding Works (http://www.welding-works.com/) and just by making adjustments it fit better but my tips were slightly off. They rewelded the tips to make them even, and they welded the connected pipes as they said the clamps were not that great. Also, yes, it will drone more if its not fit right. My sounded much better after it was installed correctly.

Bring it to Welding Works...they are the bomb

No, I will never use them again - Bullet Performance in Costa, Mesa...they are expensive and cant do any work right...they only like to work on E36 M3s. They did give me a discount because they couldnt get it right but it was still alot of $$$. They blamed it on the exhaust. They said get an Akro...I didnt really want to hear that.

The kid who tried installing it was very nice but he couldnt get it right. I even stepped into the garage to help him align it. but the right side was sagging lower and the left tips to extending out further. Apparently it wasnt seated properly into the connecting pipes and had a more drone.

Welding Works is the bomb. Olie is awesome and used to professionally race beetles. He made it look and sounds perfect.

A lot of people knock the Megan just because of the price, but it rocks.
Hey Dave,

You have test pipes or an xpipe on your megan right? Did it remove the low rpm drone?

I have megan with test pipes. Sounds nice. I still need to visit welding-works to have mine adjusted.

How about a megan exhaust meet at cars and coffee? Ha.

I am really tempted to pick this up. I wanted to do the ACM mod, which also sounds amazing, but it's no bueno when paired with test pipes.

Megan or Dinan with test pipes sound sublime.

Cant go wrong with the Megan. Its sounds like most every other catback exhaust. Very little drone. Its actually a bit quiet, but all catbacks are relatively quite on our cars.
